- Announced for Roku in August 2026; may not be in every country yet
For years, Roku had almost no proper IPTV apps. That has changed: the Roku Streaming Store now has IPTV players that accept an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link. This guide shows which ones to try with our 4K IPTV service, how to add them to your Roku, and what to do if your model or country doesn't have them yet.

| App | Publisher | Login | TV guide | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smarters Pro | Tech Smarters Private Ltd | Xtream Codes or M3U | Yes | Announced for Roku in August 2026; may not be in every country yet |
| Antena Play: IPTV Player | MyProjects Studio | Xtream Codes or M3U | Yes, with an external guide link | Saves up to 8 playlists |
Prices and ratings for these apps weren't clearly shown in the Roku store when we checked, so we don't list them. Check the price on the app page before you add it. We don't sell or include these apps.
Press Home on your Roku remote.
Open the Streaming Store (or use Search on the home screen).
Search for Smarters Pro or Antena Play.
Open the app page, check the publisher, and select Add app.
Follow any prompts, then open the app from your home screen.
App not in the store? Availability depends on your Roku model and country. Try the other app, or use one of the options further down this page.
Open the app and choose the Xtream Codes login (it may be called "Xtream" or "Login with server").
Enter the server URL, username and password from our WhatsApp message, exactly as written.
Save and wait while the app loads your channels.
Using an M3U link instead? Choose the M3U or playlist URL option and paste the full link. In Antena Play, add the TV guide link we send you in the guide (EPG) field so the program info shows up.
Some Roku IPTV apps let you enter the login from your phone by scanning a code on the screen. If yours offers it, it's much faster than typing with the Roku remote.
A Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box goes into a free HDMI port next to your Roku and runs the most complete IPTV players, with the full TV guide and catch-up. It's the setup we recommend if you watch a lot of live TV. See IPTV on Firestick and IPTV box and Android TV.
Many Roku devices support screen mirroring from Android phones and Windows PCs, and some models support AirPlay from an iPhone. Play the channel in an IPTV app on your phone and send it to the TV. It works for a game or a film, but picture quality and stability depend on your Wi-Fi, so it's not ideal for 4K.
Yes. Roku now has IPTV players such as Smarters Pro and Antena Play that accept Xtream Codes and M3U. Availability depends on your model and country.
Try Smarters Pro from Tech Smarters first, and Antena Play if it's not available or you want several playlists. If neither works on your model, a Fire TV Stick on the same TV is the most reliable option.
It depends on the app. If catch-up matters to you, a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box with TiviMate gives you the full catch-up experience.
Yes. TVs with Roku built in use the same Streaming Store and the same steps as Roku sticks and boxes.
One account streams on one screen at a time. To watch on both at once, choose 2 screens on our IPTV subscription page.
Pick a plan, tell us your Roku model, and we'll tell you the best way to set it up before you pay.
